- Single width fire doors
- Narrow fire escapes
- Twisting corridors
Can you get your patients/residents out?
The "Ski Sled" has evolved from the familiar Ski Pad which has been available from Spectrum for many years.
Special Features of the "Ski Sled"
In an emergency the SKI SLED is quickly and easily removed from its storage bag and laid beside the patient's bed. The patient is then simply transferred to the SKI SLED, wrapped in a blanket, and secured in place with the seat belt style straps and then pulled to safety.
- The tough slippery base material (which has a different texture to the Ski Pad) enables patients to be moved easily over virtually any surface - indoors or outdoors.
- The foam pad and the internal nylon support struts give protection from bumps and bruises.
- The narrow width and flexibility of the Ski Sled allows the patient to be pulled through standard doorways, along twisting corridors and down narrow winding fire escapes.
- The SKI SLED in its wipe clean storage bag can be wall mounted in wards or at the head of staircases ready for immediate use.
- The SKI SLED has a safe load tested weight of up to 240kg which is considerably higher than most of the similar products currently on the Market
