Falls protection

The problems which are faced by nurses and carers, particularly those involved with the care of the elderly have dramatically increased, as there has been some movement away from the use of bed rails and restraints, for safety reasons.

Many hospitals and care homes now utilise "low profiling beds" with Falls Mats, at the side of the beds. Our Modular Falls Mat was designed in conjunction with Newham Primary Care Trust, approximately three years ago and has been extremely popular since it was launched at the Moving & Handling People Exhibition, in Islington, last year.
