We were delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the award for Export Achievement at the prestigious Medilink East Midlands Business Awards this month, along with sister company Spectrum Healthcare (UK) Ltd.

The business awards celebrate the achievements, breakthroughs and innovations of companies operating or moving into the healthcare, med tech or bioscience sector across five categories – Export achievement, Outstanding Achievement, Collaboration with the NHS, Start-Up and Innovation.

Three finalists were picked for each category, and five companies are crowned as winners on the night.

We’d like to congratulate all the winners and shortlisted companies of the night and especially to Charnwood Molecular – winners of the Export Achievement category.

Steve Allin, Managing Director, Charnwood Molecular, commented;

‘We are honoured to have won the Export Achievement award in recognition of the talent, hard work and commitment of the entire team at Charnwood Molecular. Together we have developed a world-class service offering and we are continually re-investing our profits into company development and infrastructure. This has led to increasing demand from new and existing clients and has been evidenced by significant growth in turnover and particularly exports; our export sales have more than doubled over a two year period.’
