The Transafe TS-4 is a lightweight, four wheel chair that allows people with limited mobility to be quickly and safely evacuated from multi-storey buildings. It is suitable for ambulance patient transfers, and for use in nursing or care homes and hospitals.
The chair has a tough, durable, steel frame with an easy folding mechanism, four wheels make ground transportation easier and safer than with two wheeled chairs. A unique fold-up foot frame and chest restraint keep the person being evacuated secure while being moved. The seat and back cover are made of vinyl making it easy to keep clean.
