Description
The Patient Handling Manikin has been specially designed to give the users the feel of a real patient/resident during training exercises – without the need for a human volunteer. Ideal for use during safe lifting and handling training or emergency evacuation planning and drills.
Featuring anatomically correct weight distribution and an elongated plastic spine, the training dummies can be positioned upright in a bed, wheelchair or hoist acting as a ‘conscious’ patient would.
Soft body joints to eliminate the risk of pinch welts and bruising injuries, making them more user friendly then the plastic bodied manikins on the market. A strong webbing loop at the back allows easy handling and storage.
An immobilisation/extrication collar can be easily fitted around the neck of the manikins to enable emergency workers to practice early mobilisation and to help promote proper casualty care.
Constructed from easy to clean polyester, each manikin is supplied with washable pyjamas for improved hygiene within hospital and care home environments.
