Bob Parkin of Marsden Fire Safety interviewed on Russia Today

As you may have heard in the news, there has been a furious blaze raging at an oil depot in the Kiev region of Ukraine since Monday. The blaze has destroyed all 17 fuel tanks and has reportedly killed four people, with a further 10 rescue workers unaccounted for after a string of devastating explosions.

Hospital Aids and sister company Spectrum Healthcare (UK) Ltd are pleased to announce that they have added two further companies to their group, ‘Marsden Fire Safety Ltd’ and ‘MFS Fire Extinguishers’ with whom we have had an extremely close working relationship for the past ten years.

Both companies have relocated from their base in  Nelson, Lancashire to our Northampton premises, where they are still currently being managed by Director Bob Parkin, who, prior to starting the companies, had served with Lancashire Fire and Rescue service for over 20 years.

Wow, what a great year for recognition.... We are very pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for two Insider 'Made in East & Central England' Awards for SME Manufacturing Company of the Year and Product Innovation.

Exciting prospects for 2015

2014 was a very busy year for Hospital Aids with the further expansion of our product range which we manufacture “in house”.

Our continued work alongside emergency services personnel from the Ambulance and Fire & Rescue Services enabled the development of our most recent innovation, the “EMS Bariatric EvacMat”, which was launched at the Emergency Services Show at the NEC, Birmingham on the 25-26th September. Since its launch we have seen a huge interest in EMS EvacMat in both the UK and the USA where there are currently no other similar products available in the market.

The EMS Bariatric EvacMat is here!

Following the successful launch of the EMS Bariatric EvacMat, at the Emergency Service Show in September this year we are pleased to announce that it has gone ‘Live’ on our website.

We have, so far, had a fantastic response this new bariatric evacuation device with it being the star of the show at many exhibitions.

In November we took it along to Trauma 2014 conference where it received lots of interest and has resulted in many requests for onsite demonstrations across the country.
